Xavier Tuhauns
Xavier Tuhauns was born in Germany in 1937 from a Cuban mother and a German father and moved to USA in 1945. He lives in New Hampshire where he continues painting. He has participated in numerous exhibitions throughout the USA.
   
José Rosabal
José Rosabal was born in Oriente, Cuba, and moved to USA in 1969. He has studied at San Alejandro National Academy of Art, Havana; Pratt Graphic Center, New York; Taller de Grafica "Francisco Javier Baez," Havana, and Fashion Institute, New York. He has participated in numerous personal and group exhibitions in Cuba, Latin America, Europe and New York.
 
Belkis Cuza Malé
Belkis Cuza Malé was born in 1942 in Guantánamo, Cuba. She married Cuban poet Heberto Padilla in 1967. Though initially a supporter of the Castro Revolution, Cuza Malé later became a censor critic of his regime, causing her and her husband's lives to be placed under scrutiny. They were jailed in 1971 charged with what the Cuban government defined as "subversive writing." She went into exile in the United States with her husband in 1979 where she continued to write poetry, fiction, painting and also published several books. Cuza Malé founded Linden Lane Magazine, a review of Latin American and North American writers in 1982, and has served since then as director. IN 1995 she moved to Fort Worth and one year later she founded La Casa Azul. She has participated in several art exhibitions and her work is included in numerous private collections in Cuba, Japan, Spain and USA.
 
Ernesto Padilla
Ernesto Padilla was born in Havana, Cuba, in 1972. In 1979 he left Cuba and moved to United States with his mother, the poet and painter Belkis Cuza-Malé. He studied at the Art Institute of Philadelphia, the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and the Miami School of Design. He has participated in numerous exhibitions throughout the USA, including: The Gallery of Cuban Art at La Casa Azul. He is also an illustrator and graphic designer. He lives and works in Miami, Florida.
 

Orgonz (Orlando Agustín González)

Orgonz (Orlando Agustín González) is the only of this group living in Cuba. Disciple of the master Leopoldo Romañach, continued studies with professor Concha Ferran in 1953. He also worked under the direction of Andrés García, designing clothes for the spectacles of the Tropicana night club, Sans Souci, Montmartre, etc. In 1955 studied in the Elementary School of Art, annexed to San Alejandro and finally he graduated in History of the Art in the University of Havana. In 1958 Orgonz received first prize and mention in the Concurso of Cartel and Pintura of the Godoy Zayán Bank. He has participated in numerous exhibitions throughout Cuba including: "Encounter," in Gallery 10 of October, of the Municipality of San Miguel del Padrón, and "From the Virgin to the Hermitage."
 
Maya Islas
Cuban poet and visual artist living in USA from1965.has a Master from Montclair State College and has published five books of poems. "Tempest at Breakfast" was written in 2003 and published in digital form by 1st Book Library. Her poetry has been included in several anthologies. From 1985 has been working as a Counselor at Parsons School of Design, NY. As a visual artist
she has participated at several group shows
